More than twenty five (25) students from around the Pacific Islands have been announced as the inaugural class of interns to receive PCRIC training and skills development. This freshman class is a mix of graduate and undergraduate students, who come from a diverse range of disciplines.
The internship program will be conducted in three phases. Phase 1: Training and Writing, Phase 2: Student Research and Cross-Disciplinary Presentations and Phase 3: Part-Time Internship Work.
It begins with a webinar in August and it is anticipated that there may be fulltime PCRIC employment opportunities for one or more of the leading performers.
