PCRIC Recognised with Formal and Ongoing ‘Observer Status’ at FEMM21

The Forum Economic Ministers Meeting is a big deal to PCRIC. Held under PIFS auspices, FEMM is where the region’s Ministers of Finance, some extremely important decision makers, congregate and collaborate in terms of so many budgetary issues, with disaster financing sitting squarely as a concern within every one of their budgets.

So by obtaining a formal ‘Observer Status’, this offers PCRIC an ability to leverage its regional visibility and to also boost its influence to participate within that platform of ‘high-level’ officials both during and pre and post of event activities.

Here PCRIC can listen into their conversations about disaster refinancing and insurance and also gain more personal familiarity via face-to- face or Zoom sessions.
