PCRIC will advance its leadership in DRF at the final regional workshop of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) project on building coastal resilience through nature-based and integrated solutions. The workshop will be held at ADB Headquarters in Manila, Philippines, from 11th – 12th March, with PCRIC represented by Strategic Adviser, Mr. Nicolas Pondard and Solomon Islands National DRF Adviser, Ms. Kayleen Fanega.
PCRIC’s participation reinforces its role in shaping practical risk financing pathways for coastal and reef systems that underpin Pacific livelihoods and national economies. It also reflects the Company’s continued commitment to leading the development of innovative risk financing solutions that protect both communities and the natural systems that sustain them, while advancing preparedness for intensifying climate and disaster shocks.
The workshop will present key site-level findings, lessons learned, and will examine next steps for implementation. A key consideration will be options for national and regional scaling to support stronger, more investable coastal resilience outcomes across the region.
