PCRIC Brings Pacific Expertise to the Caribbean
1 June 2026The Pacific Catastrophe Risk Insurance Company (PCRIC) convened a strategic management meeting in Auckland led by CEO Aholotu Palu, to reinforce organisational alignment and advance key operational priorities for the year ahead.
The session brought together senior members of the insurance management team to review progress across core workstreams, including client servicing, regulatory and financial management and compliance, and the upcoming policy renewals. Discussions focused on strengthening internal coordination, accelerating delivery on priority initiatives, and ensuring PCRIC remains responsive to the evolving disaster risk financing needs of its Member countries.
The CEO emphasised the importance of disciplined execution, transparent communication, and a unified approach to supporting Pacific resilience. “Our work carries a deep responsibility to the region. This meeting reaffirmed our shared commitment to delivering reliable, timely, and affordable financial protection for our Members,” he said.
The management team agreed on a set of follow‑up actions to enhance operational readiness, streamline internal processes, and maintain strong engagement with the whole team, partners and stakeholders. The meeting also highlighted PCRIC’s ongoing efforts to expand its product offerings and strengthen its institutional foundations as it continues to grow its impact across the Pacific.
