Available to All Nations of ‘The Forum’
PCRIC is a regional South Pacific organisation and works in collaboration with all member countries of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat. As a captive insurance company, PCRIC holds key networks with its support agencies such as The Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility and The African Risk Capacity.
There are currently six countries within the PCRIC portfolio:
- Current policy holders: Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga.
- Foundation members: Fiji, Marshall Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa, Cook Islands.
There are nine other Pacific Island Forum Secretariat countries who are eligible to become members of PCRIC and access its product portfolio. They are Kiribati, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste and Tuvalu.
The following countries serve as donors: Japan, UK, Germany, USA and Canada.
