Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist

Monica is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning Specialist with over 12 years of experience leading and providing M&E technical support in the Pacific Region, South East Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

For the last 3 years, she has provided M&E support in the Pacific region through the design of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, developing M&E systems, conducting M&E training, and leading programmatic and thematic evaluations. Her thematic areas of expertise are climate change adaptation and mitigation, climate finance, disaster risk reduction and management, environmental conservation, water and sanitation, agriculture, renewable energy, infrastructure, and economic livelihoods. Originally from Kenya, Monica identifies as a Pacific Islander at heart.

She holds an Advanced Master of Science in Development Evaluation and Management from the University of Antwerp, Belgium, and a certificate in Realist Evaluation from Charles Darwin University, Sydney Australia.
