PCRIC who is a member of the Risk Finance Working Group was part of the second Pacific Resilience Meeting held from the 6th – 8th July, 2021.
PCRIC’s involvement in the meeting was an effort to enhance visibility while further serving to integrate the company within regional discussions surrounding disaster risk finance and climate change. PCRIC values the importance of aligning itself with regional initiatives and organisations to strengthen regional engagement.
According to the Outcomes Statement, “the meeting urged all stakeholders to integrate and mainstream climate, disaster, environmental, social, and health risks into development policy, law and practice.”
