PCRIC Welcomes Fiji’s New Minister of Finance

As Fiji ushered in its coalition government, the Pacific Catastrophe Risk Insurance Company (PCRIC) team offer its felicitations to the newly appointed Fiji Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics, Hon. Professor Biman Chand Prasad.

Due to the nature of PCRIC’s services and its close relations with Finance Ministries in the Pacific region, the company is doubling down on its commitments that our evolving and productive collaborations with its predecessor will continue on and reach even greater milestones with the new administration.

PCRIC is dedicated to strengthening the financial resilience of the Fiji Government against natural disasters through its available portfolio and enhancing capacity building in the disaster risk financing space. The already strong and warm partnership between PCRIC and Fiji fueled with trust and confidence will assuredly thrive with time.

The team is keen to work and co-operate with the Fiji Ministry of Finance on all matters of mutual interests concerning disaster risk finance, and especially for the betterment of the nation and its people.
