Dr. Timothy Nielander

Dr. Timothy Nielander helps design and implement Public-Private programs that operate through an institutional form. SDG 17 supports the proliferation of such projects and he has been working for around 20 years on multi-country initiatives across Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, Africa and the South Pacific.
He serves as advisor for programs funded by development banks and agencies in the global health, education, agricultural, financial inclusion and disaster risk management sectors. Dr. Nielander is a qualified solicitor in England/Wales and licensed to practice law in Washington. He holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Houston as well as a PhD from the Graduate Institute, University in Geneva, Switzerland, and is the author of Public–Private Partnerships in Global Development (Edward Elgar, 2020)
